IT Services Terms of Service
These terms govern all IT and related technical services provided by OneSource Tech, LLC. By hiring OneSource Tech, LLC or submitting payment, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
These Service-Specific Terms are an extension of the OneSource Tech General Terms of Service.
By booking or requesting this service, the client agrees to both the General Terms of Service
and the additional terms outlined below that apply specifically to this service category.
Please review our General Terms of Service in addition to the service-specific terms listed below.
1. Scope of Services
OneSource Tech, LLC provides information technology services to individuals and small businesses, including but not limited to computer repair, operating system support, networking, server configuration, cybersecurity best-practice implementation, and general technical consulting.
Services may be provided on-site, remotely, or a combination of both, depending on the nature of the request.
2. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While every reasonable effort is made to resolve issues and improve system reliability, technology systems are complex and no specific outcome or performance result is guaranteed. Client acknowledges that some issues may not be fully resolvable due to hardware limitations, third-party software, existing misconfigurations, or external factors.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about systems and issues.
- Maintain valid software licenses where required.
- Ensure access to equipment, systems, and locations as needed.
- Maintain current backups of important data prior to service when possible.
4. Data and Backup Responsibility
Client is solely responsible for maintaining backups of all data. While reasonable care is taken during service, OneSource Tech, LLC is not responsible for data loss caused by hardware failure, software corruption, malware, or pre-existing issues.
Client acknowledges that data recovery may not be possible in all situations, even when best efforts are made.
5. Service Billing (IT Services)
Billing structure, deposits, and payment timing for IT services will be outlined in the service estimate or invoice and are governed by the General Terms of Service.
Hardware, software, licensing, and third-party services are billed separately from labor unless otherwise stated in writing.
6. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
In addition to the General Terms of Service, appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a service fee. Missed appointments where access is unavailable may also be billed for reserved time.
7. Warranty of Work
Labor is warranted for a short-term period, typically 7 to 14 days, on the same reported issue. This does not cover new issues, unrelated problems, hardware failure, software updates, or changes made by the client or third parties after service completion.
8. Liability
Liability for IT services is governed by the OneSource Tech, LLC General Terms of Service.
9. Security and Cyber Risks
Client acknowledges that no system can be made completely secure. Security services reduce risk but do not eliminate it. OneSource Tech, LLC is not responsible for breaches caused by external attacks, outdated systems, weak passwords, or third-party services.
10. Third-Party Services and Software
OneSource Tech, LLC may assist with third-party products such as cloud services, hosting providers, routers, firewalls, or software platforms. The company is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, policy changes, or service interruptions from third parties.
11. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services at any time. Outstanding balances remain due upon termination. Ongoing maintenance plans may require notice as stated in the service agreement.
12. Emergency and After-Hours Support
Emergency or after-hours support is not guaranteed and may be limited due to service availability. Expedited or off-hours service, if available, may be subject to additional fees.
13. Client Security Responsibilities
Client is responsible for implementing reasonable security practices, including password management, access controls, and physical security of equipment. OneSource Tech, LLC is not responsible for security incidents caused by failure to follow recommended security practices.
14. Relationship to General Terms
These IT Service Terms supplement the General Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, the General Terms shall govern unless specifically stated otherwise for IT services.
15. Governing Terms
These service-specific terms apply in addition to the OneSource Tech, LLC General Terms of Service and any written service agreement.
