These Service-Specific Terms are an extension of the OneSource Tech General Terms of Service.
By booking or requesting this service, the client agrees to both the General Terms of Service
and the additional terms outlined below that apply specifically to this service category.
Please review our General Terms of Service in addition to the service-specific terms listed below.
1. Scope of Services
Services may include domain and hosting setup assistance, CMS installation and configuration (such as WordPress or Joomla), template-based website implementation, small custom features, CodeIgniter 4 web applications, server configuration, and general technical support.
Visual or graphic design services are not provided. Projects are built using third-party templates or themes selected by the client or recommended by OneSource Tech, LLC.
2. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide:
- Accurate project requirements and timely feedback
- Website content such as text, images, and branding materials
- Access to hosting accounts, domains, and third-party services as required
Delays caused by missing information or approvals may affect project timelines and delivery.
3. Project Payment Structure (Web & App Services)
Payment schedules, deposits, and milestones for web and application projects will be outlined in the project estimate or invoice. Work will not begin until required deposits are received.
Remaining balances are due according to the agreed milestone or completion schedule.
4. Project Timelines
Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but may change based on client response time, scope changes, or unforeseen technical issues.
OneSource Tech, LLC is not responsible for delays caused by hosting providers, domain registrars, third-party services, client-related, or delays resulting from third-party integrations, plugin conflicts, or required security reviews.
5. Revisions and Changes
Reasonable revisions related to the original scope are included. Requests that significantly change functionality, layout, or requirements may be considered additional work and billed separately.
Each project includes reasonable revisions related to the original agreed scope. Requests for new features, redesigns, or functional changes outside the original scope may require a revised quote.
6. Third-Party Software and Templates
Clients are responsible for purchasing any required themes, plugins, licenses, or third-party software unless otherwise agreed in writing.
OneSource Tech, LLC is not responsible for changes, security issues, or discontinued support from third-party providers.
7. Ownership and Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client owns the final website or application code developed specifically for their project, excluding third-party components and development tools.
OneSource Tech, LLC retains the right to reuse general development techniques, frameworks, and non-proprietary code structures.
8. Hosting, Security, and Data
While best practices for security are followed, no website or system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The client is responsible for maintaining backups unless a maintenance plan including backups is purchased. OneSource Tech, LLC is not liable for data loss caused by hosting failures, hacking, or third-party software issues.
9. Maintenance and Support
Ongoing maintenance and support are not included unless explicitly stated in writing. Support may be provided on an hourly or service-plan basis if requested.
10. Liability
Liability for web and application services is governed by the OneSource Tech, LLC General Terms of Service.
11. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the project with written notice. If terminated by the client after work has begun, all completed work will be billed and the deposit will be retained.
12. Relationship to General Terms
In the event of any conflict between these service-specific terms and the General Terms of Service, the General Terms shall govern except where explicitly stated otherwise for this service category.
13. Content Responsibility and Legal Compliance
The client is solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and ownership of all content provided, including text, images, videos, and trademarks. OneSource Tech, LLC is not responsible for copyright violations or legal claims related to client-provided content.
14. Browser and Device Compatibility
Websites and applications will be tested on modern, commonly used browsers and devices. Compatibility with outdated browsers, unsupported devices, or uncommon configurations is not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing.
15. Search Engine Optimization Disclaimer
While technical best practices may be applied, OneSource Tech, LLC does not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic levels, or business results unless explicitly included in a separate SEO agreement.
